Pre-Carnival Events Events take place in the downtown squares (DS), Moby Dick hall (MD) or along the seafront (SF). 

Saturday, Jan 30, 2010. Presentation of the King and Queen candidates with costumes and dancing (MD) - 10pm. 

Sunday, Jan 31, 2010. Public presentation of the King and Queen candidates with costumes (DS) - 7.30pm. 

Thursday, Feb 4, 2010. Cozumel Carnival Ladies' Show (MD) - 5pm.

Saturday, Feb 6, 2010. Dancing and Voting for Cozumel Carnival King and Queen 2010 (MD) - 10pm. 

Sunday, Feb 7, 2010.  Dancing and Voting for Cozumel Children's Carnival King and Queen 2010 (MD) - 5pm.

Public announcement of winners and party (DS) - 7.30pm.

Wednesday, Feb 10, 2010.  Grand Opening and Coronation of Carnival King and Queen (MD) - 7.30pm. 

Thursday, Feb 11, 2010.  Costume/Dance Competition - Preschool and Kindergarten categories (MD) - 10am.

Costume/Dance Competition - High School categories (MD) - 5pm.

Friday, Feb 12, 2010. Costume Competition - Infants, Children and Pets (MD) - 10am.

Dance Competition - High School and Adult categories - 10pm.

Saturday, Feb 13, 2010. Daytime events downtown.

First Grand Carnival Parade (SF) - 6pm.

Sunday, Feb 14, 2010. Daytime events downtown.

Second Grand Carnival Parade (SF) - 6pm. 

Monday, Feb 15, 2010. Daytime events downtown but no parade in the evening this year.

Tropical Dance Night with Merenglass (MD) - 10pm.

Tuesday, Feb 16, 2010. Daytime events downtown.

Final Grand Carnival Parade (SF) - 6pm.

Grand Carnival Closing and Concert - 10pm.

Wednsday, Feb 17, 2010. Awards and Traditional Burning of Juan Carnaval (DS) - 7.30pm.
